Rear Pegs??? 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Hello! Looking for anyway to lower and put forward the Passenger pegs for my girlfriend! We routinely do 200+ miles, and it's killing her knees! I know about the switching sides and flip, but not possible as I have the stock pipes on it! They are drilled, but all I can afford now. Any help would be great! I don't want to but will get into making custom brackets! Thanks...

Hey GJ, my wife was getting uncomfy on long rides and I tried lower and all, and it didnt work for her, the floorboards helped but she still got cramped, so on a trip on day she took off her shoes and put her feet on my seat and it releived her, takeing the wheight off of the backs of her legs. She told me I needed to come up with something for her so I did, but they will only work with the floorboards as far as I know, I havnt tried them with the stock pegs. What do ya think?????

I moved mine forward and down slightly by removing the forward bolt holding the peg bracket to the frame. Then loosen the other bolt just enough to rotate the bracket forward to a position that will just clear the pipe. Reach around the inside of the frame and with a marker, mark the location of the hole for the removed bolt. Take it off and drill it. That simple. Make sure that the left side clears everything.

I completely rebuilt mine. My wife is 6 ft. tall and has about 40 inch legs. My bracket is about 5-6 inches lower than stock and forward slightly. You can see it in my sig pic a little. If you want I will take a better pick this evening and post.
