New saddlebags on my 08 have a ? tho (pics) 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I got the saddlemen Jumbo slnts cruisn bags..I put some support brackets on the chrome fender strips to support them from getting into the brake or wheel.. I was looking at some sissy bars so my wife can ride after she has the baby she is excited to go out on the road but where does the sissy bar attach too.. I been looking alot of your guys rides and look how things are mounted and most I see the sissy bar is mounted to the same place I mounted the support brackets.. Whats the remedy for this?

Pics are too big.

The bags screw through the OEM sissy bar brackets into the subframe.

Doc I must retarted, so the sissy bar mounts go on top of the support brackets there or I take the support brackets off put sissy bar on then bags go on that? Is the sissy bar oem style have a support bracket for bags built on it already or something.
Sorry for the stupid question I just cant seem to find a close up picture of what it looks like.
Thanks
Hoss

That's it.

Yes the OEM bags are screwed into the sissy bar support on top and into a bracket on the bottom. The bag brackets are attached at the sissy bar and the footpegs.

when i put my sissy bar on, I had to change out the eyebrows on the fenders that the bags attach to. The new eyebrow have a mounting bracket for the sissy bar... or did I miss something?

Also, you are going to have to spend more money on the ultimate back seat. I see you have it for you. After she has the baby and wants to ride, she is going to demand the extra comfort.

Ya IU will get her one for sure I couldnt let her sit on that stocker.. She is small only 110 lbs but still those seats should not even be sold with the bike imo but w/e..So maybe I need a different eyebrow to compensate for sissy bar and saddlebag brackets..Doc sent me some photos that gave me an idea of what I need but his are OEm sissy bar which I was gonna do the cobra one.
Thanks for the compliment slezy the photo thing is my bread and butter

Does the small rear seat pad mounting bolt have a nut plate or do you need to reach under the rear fender to hold a nut?

Just screws right in .. The eyebrows on the fender and passenger seat have nothing under the fender you need to hold they all just screw directly in.
