Pictured are fishtails (straight-pipe) from J.C. Whitney. Inexpensive, sound great, good engine performance. Lasted for 65,000 miles so far. They work great with the K&N filter and no rejetting. County sheriff though they were too loud so I put some $1.50 baffles in them and all was well. They are narrow which really worked well space-wise with the large bags.

In 2000 the stealer put a set of samson slip-ons an a R* in order to intice me to ride her. It worked I still feed her. Love the soound and have always had good comments on the sound. It is a deep sound not like the smaller pipes. Although they are not fish tails I can vouch for samson quality. Dearman

I bought these on ebay a few months back but the wife bought me a new set so I never put them on. They are harley mufflers that were attached to a Roadstar mounting bracket and mount directly to the stock head pipes. I've never installed them but saw pictures of the bike they came off of when they were installed. Some small scratches and a ding or two but I'll take $25.00 plus shipping if your interested. They are heavy.
