The thing I see people do, that I suspect causes damage to clutches in four-wheeled vehicles, is when they are waiting at a light and rather than pressing the brake, they'll hold the clutch halfway and use the tension of gravity to hold them in place. I see (rednecks) people do this all the time.

Hey rednecks are people too HYUK HYUK HYUK

I am always in gear unless I need to mess with my helmet or something at a stoplight when safe.

No disrespect intended. I live in Tennessee, after all. Most of my friends have a bit of a scarlet tone to the backs of their necks. (Me too, actually)

It\'s easy to tell who your real friends are: Lock your dog and your wife in the trunk for an hour. When you open it, notice which one is happy to see you.

I guess I am an in-betweener. Sometimes I hold the clutch, and sometimes I go into neutral, depending on where I am. Where I live, some of the traffic lights are long, and you sit for some time. If it's a light that I know isn't going green for a bit, I'll go into neutral. If I know its changing quick, I'll hold the clutch.

Ifn I'm sitting at a stop light, I've got `er in gear. Just in case the nut job behind me doesn't get stopped in time.

I ALWAYS leave myself a way out........
