Ultimate Seat on - Verdict....... 3 Months ago
Well, I've now ridden a couple hundred miles on my new Ultimate seat. At first, I have to admit I wasn't sure if I liked it. It definitely puts you in an upright ride position which I like, but I'm now right up against the tank, which I'm not too crazy about. That aside, it is still a much more comfy seat than stock. I don't shift around at all and nothing hurts at the end of the day. The quality is top notch. I'm happy I bought it and would recommend it.

When I got mine at first I thought I might have made a mistake. I took a leap of faith when I bought mine and had a wolf stitched into the seat so I couldn't return it if I didn't like it. Now I have close to 3000 miles on it and I think its the best thing I've got for the bike so far. I'm a lot more willing to do long trips with my Ultimate than I was with the stock.

Thanks again to all on the forum for the advice on seats.

I've had mine about a year now and still love it. Glad you're pleased with it guys. Now that my better half is starting to ride with me every now and again, she's loving the passenger seat. Very comfy.

Ultimate seems to be getting a lot of business from us Clinic members. Maybe they should offer us a discount.

Yep I agree Moondog I did the same thing and had my bike name (BlackIce) put on the drivers seat as well. You get used to how you sit and I don't think I would want to change my position now for anything. The back rest saves my old broken down back as well.

Does the Ultimate seat really push you forward against the tank? I wasted over a grand on a Corbin seat that shoved me way to far forward, now it's collecting dust. I can't afford that mistake again.

Yeah, at first I almost considered shipping the seat back because of how it pushed you forward onto the tank. But, the more I ride the better it feels. Wouldn't trade it for nuthin'!

Re:Ultimate Seat on - Verdict....... 3 Months ago
I share the view of the rest of these guys. At first I wasn't sure what to think. The seat moves you forward slightly, but in my case not significantly. Any doubt melted away quickly. After a couple of rides I was sold and would never switch back. I've taken several longer rides that would have bothered my backside in the past. With the Ultimate my rear and back were fine after the long runs. I would give the seat a try. If you don't like the seat you can return it for a full refund if returned within the specified time--two weeks I think.
