Re:Ultimate Seat on - Verdict....... 3 Months ago
you tall guys with long legs are sitting on the backside of the stock seat

the average guy will be sitting in the middle and of course short guys towards the front...

that is why you sit on top of a Stock seat sold to accomodate all

and float around to where yer body dictates...

so I would say for the average guy the Ultimate would "maintain stock position etc"

So a tall long legged guy all the seats are going to push you forward...

I am 5 10 and 30 inseam ...

my corbin dual sits me lower by 2 " and a little forward dictacted by the frame of the bike...

because the horn is narrow and not a lot of cushy padding like in the Ultimate... there is no inner thigh stress..cutting of yer blood flow

Althought the Corbins dont offer the plush cushy foam...that the Ultimates do..
for some this can be a problem

I had a lot of bikes with a lot of seats...

for me... the crater hole that the Corbin offers is so ideal for me and it lowers me to a lowrider stance and I love that...and the side support on yer buttocks .... some dont like that... especially wide ass guys

So like trying on a pair of shoes..what is comfortable for some may be a pain in the ass for others

then we move on to quality... material etc...

GOOD Luck

I'm 6'2+" and around 275 lbs with 32" inseam. As the memory foam conforms to my butt during a ride I actually find I'm sitting a tiny bit lower over time. Not much lower, but enough to notice I'm not looking over my windshield as much as when I started out on the ride first thing. Also I'm on Nutrisystem so my butt's getting even smaller as we speak.

JR, Pop hit it square. The average height rider will find he's riding at about the same position as the stock seat. Us taller riders do find we're a tiny bit closer to the tank, but I'm used to it now. I put the stock back on just a few days ago for a ride, and switched back to the Ultimate as soon as I got back. There's no comparison for me. Lots of good seats out there. Ultimate gives you 14 days to try it out and send it back if you don't like it. JM2C.

You will like it. Has a different feel, but when you are out there for a couple of hours, your butt will thank you.

one thing you might consider if you order a backrest is the "offset" backrest" bar. Instead of a straight mounting"L" mounting bar, its reconfigured allowing the backrest back a bit further. I don't think its listed in products but if you mention it when you call they can get it for you.

I agree...after seeing other comments about the "offset" backrest I asked ordered mine that way. Not sure why they don't advertise this variaton.
