The packing I used is so thick you would never get more than one layer anyway.

I use and recommend FMF 4 stroke packing. Dense and durable. And priced fair , 1 roll will repack a pro pipe baffle for years. Sold at any better motorcycle shop that carries a dirt line. BB

Musky , keep an eye on the baffle bolts , in fact , check them at every oil change. They like to loosen up , leading to bigger problems (broken baffle , missing baffle.....left one in Arkansas myself..... ). Just a friendly heads up. BB

Hey Musky,
Why did you change your Cobra Low Boys? I liked the look they gave your bike. I've been thinking about going with the low boys myself. Did you not like them...or was it simply time for a change?

When you change pipes you need to change the oil.
