I think I am parroting everything said by others but here it goes;
Remove mufflers, 2 bolts on hanger, 2 clamps. Had to loosen head pipes to get enough movement to get get them off. Went ahead and completly removed head pipes. Front head pipe can be snaked out by floorboard without removal. Then put some anti seaze on the head pipe to slip into the mufflers. The front cylnder muffler was real tight. Stood assembly on end on carboard and slide down using my overly excess mass (dont forget to slide the clamps on before this step). Snaked assembly back in place. Slip muffler around to get tab straight up, or down if top pipe, used towel over tab with vise grips). Put head pipe back in, assured gasket in place and tighenend finger tight. Put new pipe hanger on (black bracket), put lower muffler bolt on loose, still all bolts/ clamps loose. Did repeat for rear cylnder. At this step I made sure front head pipes where not touching the rear brake assembly per lessons learned by others on forum (thanks guys!). The I started tightening at the head pipes and worked backwards, keeping an eye on the two mufflers to make sure they where in line. All went well with no leaks. Hope this help, Brian.
