Saddlebag fitment 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Anyone familiar with the Yami Tour Classic Saddlebags? I'm thinking about picking up a set but cannot figure out if I need the mounting hardware or not.

I have an '06 Silverado.

These are the bags....

The site says the bags fit all Silveradoes but the bracket says it fits 99-05 Silveradoes.

The mounting hardware runs $177.99 on the Yami site so there must be a lot to it. Wasn't sure though if it's just the stock eyebrows I already have on mine. Didn't want to spend money I don't need to!

I guess I just want to know if these bags will bolt right onto a stock '06 Silverado.

Thanks everyone.....greeny

If they fit like the regular Road Star saddlebags (soft and hard) you'll need the hardware to mount them. The hardware supports the bags from the bottom as well as where they bolt onto the fender (they also bolt on where the passenger pegs are).

I already have those brackets mounted as I have the Silverado saddlebags already mounted on the bike. I just wasn't sure if the bigger Tour bags had different mounting hardware than the standard bags that come with the Silverado.

Anyone also know if these are about the biggest saddlebag out there for the RS? I've done a little comparing and cannot find bigger. These look even bigger than the Boss Bag 42's.

Thanks! ....greeny

the mounting hardware is different from the stock silverado bag mounts

you will need to buy the new mounts

the mounts you have will however mount the hard bags....

and if you do that route I have the guards in perfect shape for sale.. they are on my sig pic..just replaced them with the guards and trim rails for the silverado bags

Thanks Pop....

Looks like I'll be spending a little extra $ to get the correct mounts. I'm into the leather look myself so I'll continue in that direction. I like the leather accents on your bike...especially the floorboard trim. Almost bought some of that a year ago to put on but never got around to it. Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for the good info.....greeny
