I put a 2-Channnel remote control on the air suspension tonight. I can make it go up and down while sitting on the couch (and I did).

Sorry. Since I can't get to St. Catherine Street, it's the most fun I've had for $20.00 in a while... :0)

10 minute install.

Run + to the receiver unit for the unit itself and both channels (3 total)
Run - to the receiver unit for the unit itself (1 total)
Run hot from whatever you're trying to control. In this case it was the + from the compressor (to make it go up). And + from the solenoid (to make it go down). Basically split those off the toggle switch.

The remote works in Latch, Toggle & Momentary based on the jumper you choose.

That's a really cool mod for $20, But you can only do it if you have the Air Ride first. And that's $$$$$$

True... :0)

But, the cool part was the fact that you can remote control just about anything. And, the fact that the suspension manufacturer wanted $200 for the same thing makes me giddy...

How do those remotes work on a Girlfriend? And do they attach easily

Don't know. Send me your Girlfriend and I'll try out my remote out on her...

Yes. I've found that Girlfriends seem to attach easily...

I've got the same remote hooked into my frame LEDs. REALLY easy to hook up, comes with 2 remotes, and the receiver is small and tucks nicely under the seat where the toolkit was.

It's fun to sit in a restaurant and turn them on when people get close and off when they start to walk away...

Whats the range on this unit. Got a very devious plan for it. I drive rock trucks for a living. 11 hours a night and the one thing that keeps us sane is they all have fm radios in em too so we can use our xm or our mp3 players. We have one guy that rats everyone out all the time and keeps a list of everything for the superintendant. Plus he likes to key out people on the company two way. The way I figure it, one night when he doesnt work I could add this to his fm setup so that i could turn it off or on with the remote. I could even let the mechanics in on the deal so that I can drive him insane without him ever knowing its there. Now maybe if I could hook this to his braking system.......(better not) LOL. I am truly an evil person lol.
