#127138 takehikes (User) Senior Boarder Posts: 303 UN-chromed headlight 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago   Looking for an unchromed 7" headlight for my Roadie. Old school bikes (I'm talking way back) didn't have the headlight chromed, it was painted to match the bike and thats what I'd like. Any suggestions? I can't find anything that isn't chrome. Even painted would be fine so I could repaint. I know about oging the stripping route or sanding but would prefer perhaps a different looking headlight. Bates makes some that aren't painted but can't find one 7". Ness makes one that has holes in the chrome allowing an interior bucket to shine through that I could paint. Yeah, less chrome is better I swear! Otherwise I'd be painting my headlight bucket and smiling.
