Handlebars 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago
Ok guys, need recommendations here.

Just rode my new MM home and the stock handlebars have to go. Need something with another inch or two of pull back and an inch or so more rise. Something an inch or two narrower wouldn't hurt either. I plan to add a HD Batwing fairing in the near future, so would prefer something compatible with that as well. Any suggestions?

I put the Yami medium risers on mine and that cured my problems. No sure how they would do with the batwing.

HD Heritage Softail Bars are Perfect. The most comfortable i have ever owned. Stopped that irritating pain between my shoulder blades that i ahd with the stock bars.

Quick Q regarding aftermarket bars.. do they have holes predrilled for where your switch housing and brake reservoir sit? Like.. the stock ones have a hole and on the switch housing, brake reservoir, etc. there's a little tab sticking out. Is this a universal kind of thing? Thanks in advance..

Most have a pre-drilled hole so the RH throttle/switch housing locks into place. 10-to-1, it's not in the right spot... That's the only hole that you need, as long as you're not putting the wires inside of the handlebars. Everything runs on the outside.

Well, think I've decided on a setup. The DT risers and Starbar from Barons will give me just what I'm looking for in terms of pullback and rise, and since the DT's don't have any additional rise they shouldn't interfere any with the Batwing.
