If the bars are turning that far where they hit the tank, I dont know if I would take it for a ride or not till I found out why. I can turn mine all the way either direction and they hit solid before they ever begin to touch the tank. Windshield bracket is way away from it. be careful, could be a sign of something worse in your bars that might even be a safety issue.
