Thanks, Warhorse. That's what I was hoping to hear. More input is welcome!

What bars are those you're running? They look taller than the Kongs (I think the Kongs are 16"

. I've read several comments on the apes about comfort and setting you a little further back in a neutral position, that sounds good. I do notice on longer rides (300+ miles) that my neck and shoulders start to tighten up.

And on top of that, they just look so flippin' cool!

ALSO! What's the best option for new cables. The kit Baron's wants to sell is $373!!! Is there a better option out there for S.S. cables and lines to do this mod? That just seems steep for a poor man.

DON1989: I bought me a 2008 road star silverado 1700 on new years day road it home about 18 miles when it was about 35 outside and still loved it!!! also pretty excited about finding this site
