New handle bar grips? 2 Years, 11 Months ago

Hey guys Im in the process of getting all my parts for my 16 inch ape conversion and the only thing holding me back right now is getting new grips. I have a particular set in mind and wanted to ask you guys a couple of questions.

1. Will Harley division grips fit the Road Star specs 1 inch bars, for the push/pull mounts? I have bought +10 cables from barnette with everything the same as the 99 1600 specs but just don't know if the male mounts are the same, if the cable grooves are the same width, and if the push pull will fit into our housing. So if I buy a pair they will snap into place?

2. These style of grips do you think they will be uncomfortable to ride with on a daily basis? Picture attached. If anyone has ridden with these let me know how you like them?

Hey Irish, Send me your address I have a set of Kuryakyn Metric Cruiser ISO-Grips, Chrome I'll send to you. The package says they will work on Kawasaki Drifter,Nomad-800 & 1500,Vulcans 96 to present. Yamaha Venture and Royal Star. I think the part number is 6235 not sure. I am right over here in So Cal so shipping will be cheap.
