Guys, remember I can customize your seat for a lot less and get you a great seat.

Does anyone have the Ultimate Passenger seat with throwover saddlebags? I picked up the set used for a price I couldn't pass up, but I can't get my Saddlemen yoke underneath the new seat.

Thanks,

-=Mike

That's probably because it sits lower to the fender. If you think about it, you had to remove that stock seat mount and instead you are using that alignment peg. Ultimate Passenger has a wide metal band that clips into it making the seat sit closer to the fender.

My wife loves the Ultimate passenger seat... and I love the back rest the came on it. I loved it so much I bought the riders seat for myself. Only thing I don't like is that it moves me forward some and sits higher - at least it seems to anyway - but I am used to it now.

The other thing that bugs me is both seats have some play or movement in them - you can move them somewhat with you hand and when riding the passenger seat can teeter totter back and forth which caused the back rest to do the same. I took most of the play out be double taping a hard plastic disk to each of the two seat posts on the right of the under part of the seat.

But these seats are very nice; my wife can ride all day with little discomfort - she really thanks me often for getting it for her. We rode some 400+ mile days and while we were ready to get off the motorcycle we both commented on how well the seats performed for us.

Lakecharles - definitely a different position for the driver, though I noticed that I don't even stand up at red lights now so it's worth it.

Darn - that's what I'm afraid of - I can't fund ANY room under the seat, but I really like the throwover design of the bags. I have a message into Saddlemen...maybe they have a fixed yoke (the adjustable one overlaps and doubles the thickness).

I don't know about the ultimater seat. But I now have a mustang daytripper. I used to have a corbin stinger but it made my ears bleed, my wife going on and on about how her ass hurt ect ect. the mustang has a similer profile but is alot more comfortable and 1000 times better than the stock seat. My ears haven't hurt since. I hope the seat lives up to your expectations. Means more time in the saddle.

Is the company's Canadian website the only place to purchase an Ultimate seat?
