I picked up a set of 2006 Venture bags from ebay 18 months ago from a guy doing a trike mod on his R*. Went right to work building custom mounts and getting them painted to compliment the factory paint job. I love them! Heavy duty bags compared to the OEM Road* bags. I have full set of progress pics of the build if you want em'.

I want to do the same thing myself... Was hoping to be able to do it this summer yet with my Bub Big Willies... From what I've been hearing in another forum I'll probably have to switch gears and get some Dooleys...

I'd like to see the pics MNStar... my email is hllywd@rocketmail.com

Nice Job. Bags look really nice on the bike. The dual exhaust really helps to balance the look as well.

PS Hollywood

Those BUBs look great!!!

They sound even better! When I got it jetted the mechanic did several test rides, I knew it sounded good when I was riding it but it sounded great going away down the road when he romped on it! Now my problem is that I don't think they're going to work with the Venture bags...
Thanks again for the great deal!

check out tsukay they have alot of hard bags that look really cool and most have the mounting brackets so you ain't gotta modifiy anything and the prices look pretty good. I keep debating getting a set but they look odd if you ain't got duels.

I have been trying to decide between leather and hard bags for my road star. Has anyone used this company for hard bags? http://www.tsukayu.com/Strong.htm I like the idea of having hard bags to lock stuff up and greater weather protection, but not sure which way to go. Ideas?
