I'm in the same situation as rej. I just bought a used 2006 Roadstar 1700 that already has 12" apes installed, but I want to go bigger. I am leaning toward a 16 or 17 inch bar and maybe some aftermarket risers, but I don't know what to look for concerning pull back and width at the controls. I found the Barons Kong Bar (16"

but it is rather pricey ($190). There are several cheaper bars that I have found that say they are for Harleys. Will these work on my bike? Any information would certainly be helpful to me and most likely rej as well. By the way, I am a new member. I look forward to learning from you guys.

DON1989: I bought me a 2008 road star silverado 1700 on new years day road it home about 18 miles when it was about 35 outside and still loved it!!! also pretty excited about finding this site
