Morelan4, thanks for the link. You pointed me to a nice bracket and I may go to that bracket at some point. For now I'm looking for a license plate bracket that will work with the bracket holder that comes with the bike. At this point I don't really want to replace the blinkers and license plate light that came with the bike.

Who of thunk that I would spend hours and hours researching what license plate bracket to use on the standard hardware that comes with the bike. I haven't found one that will cover up those exposed wires in the back. I may check to see what the Yamaha dealer suggests. Thanks.
