It's probably the easiet cover to replace or remove. Wait for a gear oil change. remove the bolts, give her a wiggle and off she comes, There is a small o-ring gasket inside........it's ridiculously easy!!

Wipe it clean and fill w/ Royal Purple SAE 75W-90 gear oil untill it flows out the small overflow bolt. One bottle does two oil changes.

I had to loosen the exhaust pipes at the head to squeeze the cover out, other than that. Very easy, no gaskets other than the rubber o-ring
