Could someone be so kind as to take close up pics their lowers. I'd like to look them over before I start that project. Thanks in advance.

Actually it takes less than half an hour to mount them - depending, of course, on how many beers you have

Did the holes on your guys' line right up? My dad has a set, and it looks like one hole will line up and the other.. not so much. Maybe the wrong PN? I'll have to go take a look. To confirm, the PN is 58121-85B? not -90B or anything else? Thanks!

Dan....85B is the right number. The bottom hole lines up with your bottom windshield bolt. The top slot lines up with the top windshield bolt. The top slot isn't a perfect alignment, but enough of the slot is covered by the bolt to hold good.

I don't keep mine on all the time, just when heading out on a long trip. Mine tend to vibrate a little bit which causes the windshield mount bar to vibrate into the light bar. It only happens on one side so my light bar or something is just out of whack a bit.

They make a world of difference. Even without a windshield, they seem to push a lot out of your face.

Regards....greeny

Would it be too much trouble for you to snap a pic of that? I don't mean to bother, but something doesn't seem to be adding up here. Thanks!

I cheated a bit. I built some brackets out of aluminum so that I could put them on the way H-D intended with the lower outside edge trailing back and the upper edge blocking a bit more of the wind. Not sure it makes any difference, but I like the look a bit better.
