I'm between burley and kong but totally open to anything cool in the 16" range. Also id like to use the stock risers but should I switch to lower rise for the apes? Platinum Boarder Posts: 1260 Re:What apes ya runnin? 3 Years, 2 Months ago   Get 1.5" thick bars... seriously... you WON'T be sorry, and they make your bike look a lot phatter. 1 1/2" thick bars make internal wiring a heck of a lot easier too. I'm running 16" tall, 1.5" thick bars made by Tolemar Mfg. (who makes them for Drag Specialties). Got them through Clifford here on the clinic at a GREAT price. I couldn't be happier. HERE'S another pic of my bike with the bars on.. I cannot speak for the Burly or Kong bars as I have not ran either yet. I would run at least the stock risers.
