Getting things together to go with the Patrick Racing 110ci kit for my '03 roadstar. Would like to hear from you guys who have this. How tough? Hidden costs? New carb/intake mani/exhaust needed? Etc.

i dont have the big bore kit yet but its on the list. i would get a 42mm mikuni or bigger carb but the 42 will work just fine. port the manifold and as long as you have a aftermarket air cleaner and pipes you should be able to breath good enough. oh and upgrade the clutch spring the stocker wont handle the extra power. i like the barnett sr-2 thats what im going to get based on what others here say about it. hope this helps

I believe the 110 requires the cases to be milled to accept the bigger jugs, IMO that is quite a job. whereas if you go with 108ci you will not have to do this........check the article in the tech section. It's very informative.............

you can go up to 110ci without touching the case. just the jugs get honed out and a different head gasket is used

Yes thank you, i forgot to mention that i already have curt's ported manifold and the barnett clutch. i have the V&H propipe. i had a BAK from barons on there but i went back to stock because i felt like it ran better that way.

Additionally: How's the reliability on these setups?
