Hard Bags the Hard Way 2 Years ago
Since I know we all like picts here's a couple of the latest addition to my Roadie.

I knew I wanted hard bags from the get-go so I started trolling ebay. Bought the left hand bag over 10 months ago in black. Kept watching ebay and finally, two weeks ago a right-hand bag showed up. In black.

Spent about $320 total for the two bags. The first bag I bought came with keys, just so happens the next one didn't but guess what, the key works in it too. They must have only made 10 different key sets or something and I just lucked-out.

Not wanting to spend anymore dough, I made my own brackets and here they are:

Looks ok to me having black bags on a pearl white bike, what do you guys think?

Then here's a side view with the added luggage for the next trip:

Wife would have a fit if I spent more cash on her (not my wife, the Roadie

I'll leave it alone for the rest of the season. Going on a solo trip over the 4th so I'll throw on the windshield and ride.

Looks good. Way to be patient in finding the parts for reasonable price. Do you need a winshield to put our do you already have one?
