how did you wire the lights?

you have a choice. You can have running lights or turn signal lights. But they don't work as both. You have blue, black, & yellow. I have blue and black and use mine as running lights. If you figure out how to use them as running and turn signal lights you let me know.

I already have running lights on my leather bags; so I guess I'll keep it that way. So what's the yellow for? Is blue + and black -?

Its for turn signal...

took the stock silverado leather bags off, the right one fits like a glove, but as you mentioned, the left one doesn't. There's a vertical support bar on the left bracket that is bent out. I prefer not to cut it

I cut mine out had no other choice, it's still stiff. I have been on several 1500-2000 mile trips with the bags loaded to the max with no problems.

Yeah, it's bolted right to the frame. It'd be a terrible accident for that to even flex.

thanks for all the help! What did you use to remove the support brace? Still trying to figure out how best to drill the holes. I really don't want to take off the saddlebag brackets completely off, these things are really on there. Open to suggestions.

Checked again, the right bag almost fits perfectly, the front top, I think is off slightly (1/4" or so).

I was going to use (1" to 2" OD) metal washers with rubber/nylon washers; rubber in and out rubber/nylon where it touches the bags. So I will need 4 metal/8 rubber for each bag. Is this sufficient/overkill? The bags seem pretty fragile; don't want them to crack.

How does this sound?
