Exhaust for a 2010 R* Silverado 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hi all,

What would be a good choice of aftermarket exhaust for my 2010 R*?
I've been looking at Cobra Power Pro HP 2-Into-1, V&H Big Shots and Long Shots.
I've also entertained the possibility of Peacemakers but not sure if slip-ons are the way to go.

What say y'all?

I have quite a few different pipes on mine. The two best sounding to me is the Bub jug huggers and freedom duals.

Why not just start by doing Stage 1, 2 and then maybe even 3 on your stock mufflers first?

Looking at the 2 sites, I know the cobra 2-1 has spots for the o2 sensors. The Big Shots is listed up to 08 for our bikes which is when fuel injection started. The long shots stop at 2007 just before fuel injection. The 2-1 would give the best as far as performance.

Thanks for the tips y'all. I'll read up on the Stage 1, 2 and 3 mods on the stock pipes too.

Thanks

Consider the Yamaha Speedstar Long Drags.. I have a 2009 and recently purchased after some research.. I've heard good things from those who have installed. They are actually made by Vance and Hines for Yamaha.. They are made for our FI bikes and have the O2 bungs. They are sitting on my garage floor and should be on tonight. I picked them up new in the box off eBay for $250 with free shipping from a Yamaha dealer...

I also just bought these. For the price and knowing they fit and function properly, $250 to your door.

5 sold, Rob and I are two of them.

V and H 2 into 1 pro pipe is where its at. Its crazy loud and adds noticable power gains. I love it. Looks pretty sweet too.
