i would get a bolt that dont have the threads all the way up get one longer than i need and cut it back so there is only threads at the last 1.5" or so.

i was wondering why a stock harley axle,in the right lenght, would work, ive seen them for alot less than $115

Why couldn't you take the axle and wheel to a place that sells bearings and get them to fit a bearing in the wheel that would also fit the axle..........

have you tried a search for axles? Plenty of places carry, just looked a HD up for a Dyna low rider, 31 bucks at motorcycle super store. Biker choice brand. Just get to length
