Heads up for PCS lowering. 4 Years, 9 Months ago
Just did the PCS lowering on my Roadie, and although PCS says it is supposed to lower the Roadie 1 3/4 inches, mine is down at minimum 2 inches, if not to 2 1/2, and that's with my spring maxxed. Don't get me wrong I love the look, but my V&H longshots are taking a beating a sharp right hand turns. Just my $.02 for anyone interested in this mod. It was also one of the easiest mods I've done, much easier than the same mod on the Warrior.

You have to beef up your spring Barons 930 or better depending upon your weight and one or two rideing up. Ride will definetely be stiffer but you won't lose those pipes...

Mine was lowered when I got it so I don't know much about it, but if I go out of a driveway and am making a right into the street at the same time, the rear wheel drops into the street and the pipes will drag on the driveway..I figure, eventually you will make your own slash cuts.. shorter pipes would help,,I think some stubbies would be great...
