ShowChrome fender rail 1 Year, 2 Months ago
Hey everyone, just wondering what the thoughts are on the ShowChrome front fender rail. I'm looking at picking one up but not sure about which to get? ShowChrome or Yamaha original part? Also, curious about ease of installation. Thanks everyone!

I was waiting to get the Yamaha OEM front fender rail but found a new ShowChrome a couple of weeks ago that was too good of a deal to pass up. Installation time was probably less then 5 minutes - sets inside the fender just pull out one mounting bolt at time and replace with longer ones. Fit and finish was good. Only got a couple of hundred miles on it so cannot tell you how long the chrome will last or if the welds are any kind of an issue.

Done. Picked it up, I don't want to spend the money on Yamaha nor do I wanna do the drilling etc that is required for the other.

I put the showchrome on mine about a month ago but haven't ridden enough to comment other than I like the way it looks.
