is there Comfortable Solo seat?? 1 Year, 2 Months ago
I have the Yamaha Comfort Cruise Stiletto seat. It looks awesome and it's not too bad for short around town hops. But I've taken it on my first 100+ mile trip today and it sucks for long distance!

Does anybody have a solo seat that has a similar design, i.e. mounts onto the rear fender, and is comfortable for long distances?

I'm looking to go to the ERDody seat later for rider and passenger because everyone here says how great they are. I know I could buy their rider seat and use it solo. But I don't like the look of that. I've looked at a couple of Danny Gray seats and I like the looks of those, but are they comfortable?

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks
Chad

I have the same seat and agree, it's not meant for extended riding. I also have an Ultimate seat set that I use for touring. You could fall asleep in that seat.

I have the Saddlemen Stiletto solo seat on one of R*s. I ONLY ride that one around town, and on short hops. I can barely stand an hour on it.

It looks super, but it's heck to ride for any distance!

I have the comfort cruise stiletto as well. Its a good sub-200 mile seat.

I also have a yamaha Custom Solo seat for riding with my luggage rack or 2-up. The Custom solo is great for longer trips and I have never been uncomfortable.

I switch back and forth depending on what Im doing.
