You guys might flog me but I just put a pair of Krome Werks Dyna Wide Glide handle bars on the R*.

Liked the looks of them on eBay, still warming up to 'em on the Roadie.

But, what the heck are you guys doing with the stock grips and the open end???

I went with the Kury ISO grips and large throttle boss on each grip.

ISO's are the best grips I've ever used! I have them with the boss on the gas side, and standard end cap on the left. I don't know what the stockers even look like.

Curt, the Kury ISO grips are a definite possibility... what do the throttle bosses do/look like?

+1, had them on the Goldwing as well. Great grips.

The throttle boss lets you rest your hand and still keep the throttle pressure on. Sort of a palm rest.

Kury has the extra large ones and there is one for right and one for left. You lay your fingers on the levers and and the heal of you hand on the boss and you still have both hands on the bars and are in control but relaxed. For me throttle locks are unsafe.

I have the Avon air grips and like them so far,do you have any pics of the wide glide bars on your bike yet? Curious how they look and feel on there, have my share of HD stuff on mine also friend wheels and deals in parts for them so prices are usually good

Got it. By the looks of the replies, I think I need to hit eBay and buy some Kurys.

Thank you Gents!
