I have one just like the 3rd one, and once you get used to it being there when you throw your leg over it is great.
I have a curved star pad on it now. Make a world of difference.

How far up your back does it go? How much lower back support do you experience with the third one?

I've got one like the third one too. It gives you pretty good support and it it definantly makes a difference on long rides. Cant go wrong for the price.

I have one similar to the 3rd, but the steel bar is at least 2 -3 times as think as what is shown. I got it on ebay along with a used Looney seat. Instead of a hole, it has a long notch cut in the steel bar, about an inch long. I ended up making it about another inch deeper to give me more room for adjustment, but it works great. Only draw back is it requires the stock pillion mount. I preferred the solo look before but it's worth it. It goes about mid way up my back but what I noticed most was that it kept me from moving too far back in the saddle, there by easing pressure on my tailbone. Which was after all, the main intent of changing my seat.

Mine folds forward to make it easier to throw your leg over
problem is the girl on the back keeps pushing me forward
She's found out she can stuff her purse in between her seat and my backrest... and her jacket... her grocery bags... and her mom... and her...
