I purchased my 02 silverado a few weeks ago, and the owner can't find the baffles that go in the pipes. It has vance and hines long shots on it. It sounds great without the baffles, but I was wondering if someone on the forum has a set they aren't using. I would love to find out what it sounds like with the baffles in them. 
pm me if you have a set or know where I can find a set if you don't mind.

your bike would surely run better with baffles in the pipes.. the v/h longshots bark nicely when you hit the gas!! im talking about with baffles in them..  |

JP Cycles has them for $29.95. They do make a difference. When I got my 2000 RS 5 years ago the baffles were missing. The bike was LOUD. Got the baffles, brought the calling card down to an acceptable level and the performance improved.  |

I removed mine just to see what it was like,didn't like the tone it had and lost power for sure,rode right home and reinstalled them,you will like them with baffles
|

I have a set I took out of mine... I used them to "experiment" with... I cut and rewelded them back together and tuned them to my bike for performance ... you can have them for the cost of shipping if you want them...

That is kind of you theGRINDER. How do you think they will work with my stock setup?
Will they give the same sound as stock baffles? Did you increse the sound level when you tuned them for you bike?
I assume they will fit in a stock set of v&h long shots?

Grinders baffles will work for you. You'll notice alot more torque with baffles.

You can use any baffle thats 2 1/4" i belive for your pipes. I've taken different companys baffles and used in my cobra lowboys.... I just cut some shorter to get more sound but keep the torque.

Sigmund45... my baffles are from a set of V&H Longshots... actually that what pipes are now, just reconfigured into duals... they will work for you...
