Don't have experience with that particular one but I just bought and installed this one.

The install instructions are useless but you should be able to figure it out. Made a huge difference on a 6 hour ride last weekend.

Not to change subject how is it to swing your leg over drivers backrest? I have been thinking about one but haven't because wondering about getting on and off bike

I'm 5'10 and 200lbs and 43yrs old and can swing my leg over without much difficulty. My father is 67, the same size (actually a bit shorter) and can do it also. Granted it is a little more difficult for him but he can do it.

Thanks for the input I have a spare backrest pad and flat stock now just need to find time to fab one up

I just ordered one yesterday - should be here mid week. I like it (from what I can see on the ebay pics) that the brkt is not exposed and has a cleaner look to it. For $40 I don't think you can go wrong - I couldn't make one for that.
