handlebars 11 Months ago  
well my big johnsons should be here this week, from what i could find on here to read it should be a simple unbolt and bolt them on cables,lines and wires (stock lenghts)should fit,just wondering if there is anything else i should be aware of or watch for,thanks

Just that nipple on the throttle control housing. Grind it off or drill the new bars

I think the Big Johnsons are drilled for the locking nipple in the control housing. This should be easy.

Pick up some grip glue!!!

They are totally bolt on. Been running them for about 3 years now.

i believe their wider then beach bars at 38 inches,i think the beach bars i looked at were 35 or 36 inches,i got these off ebay at riders discount seems like a good store decent prices a wide selection of bars,i seen beach,star,and nostalgia bars there when i was looking for a set....here is a item number for the ones i got Item number: 230810426472 if you go to ebay and search this number the bars should come up. Thanks for the info Wild Mac. I see 'em.

I just put on 10" mini apes even though I've always wanted beach bars.

I like the look, maybe just because it's different, but after some more lengthy rides have been wondering about comfort.

I'm leaving on a solo ride in a week and was thinking I'd buy some beach bars just to compare before I take off.

I love my beach bars, I don't know what brand they are but I love the look. I have mine on 4" risers with a 1.5" set back. I bought it this way but it is very comfortable now with my ED Standard seat.

Maybe some one out there can tall me what they are!

no problem,i wanted that wide low look so i guess these will do it for me,,,i was to a bike show last year and a guy drove in on an old indian and his bars were wide and low it just looked so cool,i thought,,,hope ya find something.
