I have the Yamaha Big Bar...I don't think there's anything flimsy about it. IMHO, Yamaha makes mostly good quality add on parts (most of the chromed stuff anyways) for the Roadie and this is one is no different. I have the Big Bar and several pieces of hardmount and quick-release backrests, in addition to the Silverado parts that came on my bike. I like them all. I also think the Big Bar follows the lines of the Roadie very well. There's always gonna be a fluke here and there. I believe the Lindby requires you to drill into the frame at the top attachment too...Also, I dropped my bike trying to strategically roll it into the garage. Big Bar saved it from going all the way down and scuffing up stuff.

I thought Kuryakin (guaranteed miss-spelled) had some adapters for the fat bar, but you have to get the adapters and pegs seperate.

Yep, I already had the pegs and mounts but had to buy the 1 1/2" clamps. The 1 1/2" clamps don't come with any of the highway peg kits from Kuryakyn.

About 2 yrs ago a friend who had the Lindy bars on his bike wiped out taking a turn, hit a piece of roofing shingle and it was like grease. The bike flew out from under him and the Lindsy bears folded like paper. Maybe someone should look int the degree of safety each one provides, its not a beauty contest My 2cts

Add my 2 cents to that, I have the Cobra fatty, saved my bike and my legs, the road burned it halfway through but held up nicely.
