Awesome write up. I love the detail in it. How much does this little item run as far as price range. Is it a fairly inexpensive little mod.

JAGG adapter was $102 shipped from Amazon and the DBI cooler was $140 from BKRider.

Do you happen to know what the oil temp runs at without a cooler? Excellent write up and pics btw. Looks really nice

No. Would have been nice to compare the before/after temp reading.

My temp sender is at the bottom of the oil tank, on a hot day after a 20-30 min ride @ 70mph oil temp gets up to about 260º. Keep in mind we are comparing temps at 2 different locations.

First what a great right up and install job... Looks fab and excellent step by step..
Second - just thinking out loud here as I don't know but wondering just how effective the unit can be without a fan? I can see how you are creating a bit more surface area but the unit would only appear to be dissipatting heat when your moving or cruising... seems like you would really need the ability to dissipate heat when sitting or moving slowly in bumber to bumper type traffic...
What say you RSC???
