Ah, I have the shortest spoiler that memphis shades makes, not sure if that is the 5" or not. But anyway, I'm 6'2" and I feel just the slightest flutter on the top of my helmet. Not getting hit in the teeth with lit cigarette butts and rocks is really nice. Wimp shield my arse, if so call me Nancy, I love it.

but damn its big and kinda ugly...haha... not sure i'll keep it
anyone in the new england area interested in one at a great price?

[quote]I put on some HD touring lowers and it made a noticeable difference. If you could make some to fit, like the ones Curt makes, they would probably work better, but the HD ones look better to me. Only thing is the HD lowers only last a couple of years before cracki+
+1 on the lowers..as well as the deflectors I got from Long Ride Shields

These were easy to install and quite a bit cheaper than HD..

Irishman, I bought one of these on ebay. Its actually a winddeflector that fits on a Royal Star Venture. It fits below the triple tree and deflect the wind that comes from under there and over your tank. It helped.
Course you have to modify it to work with the roadstar.
Link, when you click on the link, scroll down until you see the item. lower wind deflector
BTW its only 12.00

Actually, I am planning on getting this very same setup.
If you are serious about dumping it, let me know.
