Anyone out there with 10" apes? 10 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Thinking about changing it up from the stock bars. Are new cables necessary? I have the Road Glide fairing, if that will make any difference.

polishdog Ive got 12"apes and my cables are ok just ,the brake hose wont stretch that much so you gotta get one of those,

If they make an 8' bar I have never seen them. I have ridden with 18's on my old shovel and it became a lot of work IMHO. I love the way the 10's ride. Just enough to give irt some attitude with the perfect amount of comfort.

I really like my 10" Z bars. I also have 4" risers with 2" pull back. I'm 5'10" and they fit me just right.

10" apes for me are not the ticket. Just completed a 800 mile trip for the July 4th holiday and I could never get comfortable in my shoulders. Just didn't work for me. I'm going to beach bars.
