You can try www.narleychoppers.com They have an axle listed as a roadstar conversion axle but I'm not sure what it is.
I've seen lots of questions on here about these axles. Is there more to it than getting some bearings that fit both the new wheel and R* axle and spacers that fit your new wheel?

It is NOT a threaded rod. If you use a threaded rod... you will crash and burn horribly, at some time when the soft metal breaks from stress.
The axles on our bikes are specific machined metal to withstand the centripetal and gyroscopic forces introduced with a spinning weight.
Don Pelino aka "cyberchef" (L&D Custom Bike Wurks) has a very good setup and it is specifically designed to take those forces into account. His supplier keeps giving him some kind of excuse every time he calls them. From the sounds of it, they keep saying its a resource/time shortage, which leads me to think Don isn't "big" enough to garner any of it.
Please make sure you do not use threaded rod. It is *NOWHERE* near strong enough to handle the front, let alone the rear.

i ended up geting a 1" bearings and had custom wheel spacers made with built in reducing bushings. to convert the 22mm axle to work with the 1" (25.4mm) bearing. a member here made them out of stainless steel for me.

You should not use threaded rod to support anything more than a compression load. They are not made for torsional or shear loads. Even in tension (compression), it is a relatively weak structure due to the thread grooves. Think of them as a continuos fault line running the length of the part. Not made for sustained varying loads either. A threaded rod is pretty much a quick solution to needing a very long bolt of a given size for intermittent duty as a tool, shop aid, or fixture.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic. I know it's not an all thread.
Gonna try and find someone to help me make the spacers. Thanks all!!

Thanks Bud!!!
