AIS Removal - Success!! 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Well got off my a** and got the Barons AIS removal kit installed.
2007 RS. The removal is a tad different than an '04.
You have to remove the fuel pump/filter cover and then unbolt the fuel pump/filter (2 x 10mm bolts at the top of the mount). Then you can get easily at the air injection point for the rear cylinder.
The biggest PITA was re-installing the fuel pump/filter cover. Those rubber mounted nuts drove me nuts. LOL.
Started her up cold. Much better cold starting. No more wanting to stall.
Sweet! I have read I am now set to get addicted to modifications!

No way you can do just one mod. Hide your credit cards, this is only the beginning.

Way to go. You are on the move now. What will be next?, lowering the bike, fuel pump, new lights, bags, windshield, the purse is the limit. Go for it.

True words! I recently decided removed the AIS on my bike. By the time I was done, a new horn, 4" True duals and Cavalry Bags were bought! Never stop tinkering.
