memphis shades 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
I have a 2011 model R* S.. memphis shades doesn't have a mounting kit listed for that model..can a 09 kit be made to work?

Not sure about that, I know when I bought a ms fairing I was shipped the wrong year hardware and it was totally different. And if it could have been made to fit it probably would have the fairing stuck way up over the headlight. You may want to email them and see what they have to say about it.

Tugboat, unless they have done some radical changes to the tree of the Roadstar between 09 and 11, I'd bet they would work, the bracket actually fits inside the tree and housing. Kai

P.S. you just need to make sure the parts are for a R*!!!

from NE Louisiana. The mounting kit will probably work. They have just not updated their listing for newer models.

When I purchased mine they had wrong fairing in the right box. Cost me an extra mounting kit cause I modified the first one. When it mounted the fairing was about six inches to high. The fairing was also narrower than the one for the Roadstar. Ended up getting a reckless with the stereo. Much better.
