Got that dang last floorboard bolt out 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Finally. I sure love this site. Devilphish from 3 years ago gave someone the answer of once you have one bolt out, you can use the board to loosen the other by rocking it forward and back. worked like a charm. I moved my boards forward and angled tonight. Got the extended shift rod from Jonesie. Thanks.

Now the question I have is how did those that have done this secured their brake line? I put a single zip tie toward the middle of the line just to try to limit the bounce it will have all loose.

Oh and replaced that cheesy allen head bolts Yama-mama used with grade 8 bolts. Can use a damn ratchet and socket on them next time.

I like allen head bolts, changing to that from regular hex bolts.

I had the same issue..ive had highway bars in the garage now for almost a year because of one those damm bolts. I ended welding a bolt to the allen head bolt and got it off that way. What a pain in the butt. I also changed out the bolys to regular ones too.

WOW. What a difference in comfort! Simply moving the boards forward and angling.

I moved mine forward and angled them up some time ago. the way I secured the brake line was with zip ties.....use as many as you feel necessary. I think I used 3.
