National cycle windshield 2-up switchblade help 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I bought a used but VERY GOOD, windscreen on Ebay and didnt get any instructions with it. Its the windscreen shown and is off a Roadstar. Anyone have some instructions for this set up? I have all the brackets and things, but just want to be very sure before I mess something up.

I put some on my 03 Roady. Check the Link... The instructions that came from Natioal were right on! The only thing is, when you put on the Hardware straps around the top of the forks, be gentle. The straps can easily scratch the chrome. Torque Whench to specified range. Can't remember the number. I think it was 22 lbs. Dont quote that. After you have them on take a good ride and recheck the torque again. Just do a dry run on Install to make sure you have clearance on when you turn the bars left and right. I love them.

Mrdon59........I was thinking of this windshield since I don't want one permanently on my bike. Do you have any closeups of the mounting. I'm VERY leary of clamping to the chrome forks.
Thanks
