Yami lightbar install help 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I'm installing the yami lightbar on my R*. Running into a problem. I don't see how the turn signals mount on the turn signal adapter provided with the lightbar. There's no way I can see that it will fit over the adapter. I took the rubber piece off of the turn signals off the stock bar thinking that would help, but it still seems way too big. Is there a trick to this or something.

Re:Yami lightbar install help 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Another question, got it all together and the lamps work (tribar black dot , little rewiring at the can's but no biggie, going to look rather silly as the tri-bar headlight is on backorder).

Problem though is the left turn signal, the brightness is week and when I turn on the left signal it blinks irredically, but still weak. When I turn on the right turn signal , the left blinks as well. Ideas?

if yer signal lights worked before ok ..then you have rehooked the wiring
wrong or poorly and pinched a wire maybe...the signal light bullet wires should plug back in where they came from...dont forget there is a ground a blue and a (green or brown) from each signal light 3-wires and they just plug back in from whence they came...

Uggg, everything is reconnected at the headlight properly. I double checked that. I see no pinching of wires or a cut or anything like that on either end of the left signal. The blues are with the blues, the black with the black, brown with brown and dark green with dark green. Would you say the short has to be in the signals based on the symptoms?

Re:Yami lightbar install help 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Slyguy, I had the same issue when I put some used front turn signals on the back of my bike. In my case, I guess, it was more operator error, but...... When I took the lens back off to check everything, I noticed that if I wiggle the bulb, it would not flash irradically. So, I checked the inside of the housing and noticed the holder was tweaked just enough to leave the bulb a little too much slack so it was not making proper contact, thus causing the issues just as you are describing. This may not be so in your case, but it is worth a try. Just tryin to help.
