Running the Barons Engine Guards. No particular reason other than I got 'em cheap off of ebay

Here's a link if you want to go see 'em on the Baron's site:

when i bought my fatty bars...i really reallllly wanted the lindby bars, I thought they were definately cooler, but the price was a bit higher and I believe you have to drill into your frame which i did not want to do

I went with the Baron's for the simple reason it works with the Yamaha lowers. The lowers clear by about a 1/4". I also hung highway pegs on it. Had it for 2 years and still looks new.

I have the Baron's... 2nd one the first one saved my leg and the bike with crash with a car at 40 mph. Tore hell out of the car only bent the crash bar about 1/2 an inch. I quicky bought a brand new one.

FWIW I asked the mechanic about those Lynby's and he complained that you had to drill a hole in the frame to mount them, which he apparently though was a bad idea. I personally know nothing.

I've got the cobra fatty's and love them, they just look right on a bike the size of the R*. The big bars are all 1 1/2 inch I think so it will make a difference finding hiway pegs but you can order the 1 1/2 clamps and build your own with no problems.
