those look great pop, might be a little pricey for me at 799.00 though. I only gave 390.00 I believe for the Propipes.

I did a lot of research and hemming and hawing but decided for look, sound and price the V&H Propipe is a deal. Everyone likes the 2 in to 2 look but then again I didn't want to be everyone. I do like the Sideburner but word is its pretty loud and it dumps too far forward. That is another reason I liked the Propipe, it dumps far enough back so as not to bother the War Department on the back!

JFR, although baffled, the Speedstars are no quieter than the Bub Big Willies and I like the sound of the Bub's better during throttle surfing.

Re:2-1 exhaust 3 Years, 8 Months ago
I've been looking at 2-1 also, and really like the HK Sideburner and thought about some short shots or stubbies. I went on line and found some sound bites (u-tube) with a lot of sounds of different pipes. Short shots and stubbies were a little loud and the sideburners were a little sharp toned. Although it didn't rank first with the looks, the V%H 2-1's really sound good and took the award for that catagory. Plus, the price doesn't hurt as much. I had wanted some Roadhouse duelies until i saw the left side vibrating up and down....maybe they just weren't mounted or tightened down, but it changed my mind. Think I'm going to go for the V&H....good sound...fair price.

I love my roadhouse classic 2 into 1 pipes. Not terribly loud, just right IMHO. (plus I can get to the transfer case for service)

Re:2-1 exhaust 3 Years, 8 Months ago
hey guy's

on the v&h 2-1 pro pipe, how far back is the end of pipe?

1) is it to the end of the bags
2) rear tire
3) end of rear brake rotor

other: how far off the ground is the pipe?

i have cobra speedters long's 5 1/2" off the ground-if i take my son out for a ride, going into some turns they hit the bottom of the rear pipe!

do the v&h 2-1 pro pipe sound louder than the speedster long's or is it
a deeper sound?

thanks

bartish

This help? They are deeper/mellower , with a bite only if throttled aggressively. It Won't drag........unless you are running forwards , which allow the bike to get over more. Even then , I only touched twice. BB
