Has anyone installed the VANCE HINES Short Shots? 5 Months, 1 Week ago

I want to change the pipes on my bike and I've been shopping arround, and the only ones I like are the BUB Chambermaids and the VANCE short shots. The only thing I m afraid is that they are too short.

I run bub stubbies on my bike which are about an inch longer than the short shots, I love them could not be happier...I have always had long pipes on bikes but wanted something different and i am very happy |

 I have the Samson Big Gun Slashers w/Khrome Werks Baffles and love'em (except for the fact that the covers aren't full length, so I have some bluing) and they replaced the longer Cobra Drag Pipes which I ran open (and they were loud). I would go with the V&H stubbies if I were you. JMHO.  |

AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PIC. I HAVE THE SHORT SHOTS. GOT THEM BECAUSE OF PRICE PLUS LOOKS. THEY COME WITH THE EXPENSIVE VANCE AND HINES QUIET BAFFLES INSTALLED. GOOD SOUND, LOUD WHEN REVING SUBDUED AT IDLE BUT NOT WIMPY. I LIKE THEM.  |

I just put on La Choppers curved exhaust and absolutly love the sound and look of them. (ok they are not pictured as of yet) but anyways got them on ebay for $495.00 plus shipping. thats $100.00 cheaper than JP cycles. Fifty Yet

I just got the short shots and I love them. They have a great sound and I think they look cool with the little bit of the inner pipe that sticks out the end. If you look on You Tube there is a guy with a video of his bike with the short shots on it.

Somebody tell me what kind of pipes I have??? Previous owner put these pipes on...their very loud...everyone knows when I'm around. No blueing and really nice chrome.  |

look like hard krome, maybe 2.5" staggered straits. i had a set of HK 3 incher's and that was the look.
