Barrancas del Cobre, Mexico 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I just found this tour by reading a local Meetup member's bio. Would be tons o fun. I have back packed there three times in my younger days and have been to all the villages and areas mentioned and more. My home is decorated with lots of Tarahumara art, baskets, pottery, weaving, bow/arrows, blankets, etc. Watch the video. What remote tours have you all been on?

Hey Shores!
I've just came back from riding in Chihuahua. I rode from Merida, Yucatan where I live, all the way to Chihuahua and rode to the Sierra Tarahumara and sorrundings with a couple of very good childhood friends of mine. It was amazing!
I spent a month and a week traveling and visiting family and friends.
I attended the ATM Bikers anual meeting at Santa Isabel Chihuahua. The most kind people and they hold a very old school type event. I love it. I'm from Chihuahua but work got me here at Yucatan a long time ago.
Here in Yucatan there's no hills so the roads are flat & straight. Riding in Chihuahua was an eye opener and had to learn again how to ride the curves and slopes. It is so far the best ride of my biker life. It was close to 5000 miles roundtrip.

Very impressive Jose. If you ever do it again, I'll come with you. I love that area.

I would be honored! Maybe in a couple of years so I can save enough money for the trip. It's is great to ride with local friends, they know all the secrets there. We stayed at Hotel Sierra Azul in Creel and room was only 28USD one night with three beds, AC, TV. It was low season and it was really cheap.
