Don the years that I went the Sands hotel parking lot was just for bikes and they had security as far as registration I never had too, and beware you just might run into some women that don't wear a lot of cloths

GREAT! I won't mention that bit to my wife.

I'm staying in Carson City at a motel there, but will try to find the Sands when I get into Reno for the rally. Does the Sands parking lot charge to park your bike there? And how close is it to the rally area?
